Shaftesbury are a long term investor in property exclusively in the liveliest parts of London’s West End, a location that has many unique features which bring prosperity, resilience and opportunity to the local economy.

Our Plan

Our vision is to create a high quality, accessible multi-use building that is sustainable and visually attractive.

We bought 72 Broadwick Street in December 2017, and have now received planning consent to refurbish 72 Broadwick to provide a mixed-use building with new office, restaurant, gym, retail and residential space. The Marshall / Broadwick Street junction presents an exciting opportunity to add a feature corner to the building that can respond to the adjacent massing and act as a new ‘gateway’ to Carnaby Street. We started construction works in August 2019, completion is anticipated for Summer 2021. read more

Local Area

Carnaby represents 36% of our total portfolio, which includes over 160  shops, food and beverage outlets, and over 100 residential units.

Carnaby is world-renowned as one of the most unique and iconic experiential shopping, dining and leisure destinations in London’s West End. A destination encompassing 14 streets, including World famous Carnaby Street. It is most famous for its history as the centre of the swinging 60s London. We ensure that Carnaby continues to provide an excellent habitat for biodiversity in the West End. In 2018, we worked with ZSL and the Mayor of London to bring the first of a network of public Water Bottle Refill stations to Carnaby and this can be found in Kingly Court.
